Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Katlego 'Killer' Mphela has joined Kaizer Chiefs on loan until the end of the season. Mphela will also join the Glamour Boys permanently at the end of the season after signing a pre-contract earlier in January.
The 29-year-old striker has not started a single game for The Brazilians this season, making just five appearances from the bench. 'Killer' hopes to re-ignite his career.
"It feels awesome, because I see chances of winning many medals here. The chances of them (Chiefs) winning the league are there, so I'm just here to bring my experience, to help where I can and do what I can do best, scoring goals. Hopefully I will revive my career and maybe go back to the national team as well," said Mphela.
Mphela will wear the number 37 jersey and is immediately available for selection. Kaizer Chiefs' next game is against SuperSport United on the 5th of February at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
