McDonald's launches a National campaign to support creativity!

The legendary brand, McDonald's launches a national campaign to engender and support creativity by individuals and groups, no matter the odds against which their creativity is expressed and brought to life.

“I'm lovin it StreetRhythm…” campaign is about discovering extremely gifted young DJ’s with that uncanny, almost scary yet charming DNA of a creative rebellion. It’s about encouraging the hidden genius of a creative deviant to come to the fore and set the nation’s imagination ablaze. We are looking for restless and ever-searching souls to whom creativity is an endless quest for personal truth and engaging with the world on their own terms.

For these young DJ’s and their dance crews, there are no fears expressed and absolutely no one can extinguish their raging creative fire. These youth epitomize the McDonald's spirit, they don’t wait for fate to interpret their dreams - they fight it out to see their dreams come alive in their awoken hour.

Street Rhythm is the flagship program of the Kuwa Ajabu Foundation.  The investment of McDonald's into Street Rhythm allows for dominance across ALL the marketing of the Hub.

On the 16 May, DJ Dean Fuel, DJ Loyd and Kaunda will bring the epic Semi Final experience of Street Rhythm to Jamieson Plaza, UCT. Students can vote for their favourite DJ and Dance crew during your lunch break to ensure their favourite join us in Johannesburg for the finals.

Major League will be hosting the semi-finals on the 17 May 2013 at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. 12h00 at the North Campus Grounds.

2 May 2013 on the Library lawn at Wits University’s East Campus. DJ Sphectacular, DJ Naves and Ms Cosmo will be hosting the semi finals.
