Bloemfontein – Mzansi's local acts, Zahara, Lira, Maleh dazzled this year’s Macufe with Angie Stone headlining the night with a spectacular closing.

After yesterday’s Divas Concert, well, one would argue for the maximum that our local acts, Lira, Zahara and Maleh are forces to be reckoned, with the stunning performances they wow the audience with their extreme and thrilling moments of music; it was indeed a Divas Concert, they are such Divas.

Angie Stone - 'Brother' and 'I wish I didn't miss you anymore...

Zahara - 'Umthwalo' and 'Loliwe' and dazzled us with some of the late Brenda Fassie's songs, such 'Promises' and Vulindlela.

Lira - 'Phakade' and 'Believer' loved her beautiful dress by Stoned Cherrie, she looked so comfortable and pleasing if I may say.

Another Diva of the night was the great Maleh, well, she never dissapoints - she wow the audience with her hot songs such as, the hit 'Falling' and 'Uzongilinda.

The event was great, enjoyable with a feel of the Divas and the audience that couldn't stop screaming throughout the entire show. The artists did their best to unpack loads of entertainment that left the audience seeking for more.

When the international act, Angie Stone performed in closing of the show which was done in style, the crowd was thrilled, they went as far as near the stage and as always securities used some kind of force to stop them, but this time they did not win as Angie Stone told them, "Don't do that let them come to the fencing..." Surely she did not know what she was really asking for re-South African audience. Anyway there were matters of un-safety, the crowd was manageable.

The Divas Concert followed another massive event that was hosted the previous day at the same venue, The Macufe Indoor Jazz, where the likes of Khuthala and Jimmy Dludlu who entertained the audience to the maximum performed. The legendary Dludlu was the highlight of the night.
Maleh - loved her dress to the maximum, she's such a Diva who love to wear lovely long dresses.
Today, at the Water-Front is the main event, and currently on stage is All African Band, who also paid a tribute to the reggae legendary late Lucky Dube who died in a car hijacking.
