Joburg Arts Alive 2012 - Jazz on the Lake

Johannesburg - Yesterday we headed to the Jazz on the Lake – Arts Alive brought to you by the Joburg City. As we arrived the audience kept on gathering and arriving in huge numbers, the ground was full – don’t want to talk about the beer halls that were packed to the maximum, after all the weather allowed the audience to sink in cold beverages.

The prime artists who performed were Maleh, Thandiswa Mazwai, Vusi Mahlasela, Lira and many more.

Lira pictured right - gave us an awesome performance that left the audience cheering for more. She was so beautiful or rather stunning as usual. Loved her dress that was so colorful and bright as the sun of the day.

The event was one of the kind - well planned as usual and none went wrong. We were transported from and to the main areas of the City. All thanks to the World Class African City, Joburg.

Maleh! Arts Alive 20

Musical sensation Maleh was also on top of her game - wow she was so beautified, loved her dress! In an interview with her she was so excited to be sharing the stage with Thandiswa Mazwai, Vusi Mahlasela etc. Her album titled, "Step-Child" is currently available in all major music retail stores. As for the guys, sorry she's not married but in a relationship - she described her partner as a very supportive person. "In two years time I still want to see myself on stage and outside the country..." Concluded Maleh. She also worked behing the scenes - mainly involved in events planning.

Thandiswa Mazwai - She was so great as usual - in an interview she encouraged artists to stay original and do what they are best at.

Vusi Mahlasela got down with the crowd - so amazing was the experience, after all it is not only the SA President who can get down.
