We went Xtra to attend the 18^th Annual MTN South African Music Awards Nominees after party, held at Hush Rosebank. We celebrated with the stars and everyone was happy as the event went well organised. Now all eyes are on the big event SAMAs 2012. If the after party went so well, well, this means we are geared to be amazed by the actual event. Wow the performance by Kwesta MR Cool made me feel so powerful, wow the kid can do wonders hey...

We caught up with Nomhle; she recently released an album late last year titled “Ikwezi Morning Star.” She has been nominated for two (2) categories, the first being the Best African Adult Album and Female Artist of the year. Asking Nomhle how she feels this is what she said, “I feel awesome, I feel amazing, and I am really excited, I am so thrilled and I don’t know how to explain it but I am very happy…”

Let the Judges Decide!

Remember for all the above or rather all categories it’s up to the judges to decide who wins, except the MTN Album of the year . Talking to Mr Sisa Sopazi her producer this is how he feels about public not being involved in the voting process, “We are winners already, she's a new artist and I mean for the best female we did not even think about it, so we've won already, unfortunately we would have loved the public to vote so that it shows what fans are looking for…”

So Nomhle from here where to? “Of course to greater things, I mean this is something good for me,” continued Nomhle, “It’s quite great because it’s my debut album and I only released like two or three months ago and this is something huge for me,” She concluded, “I would like to thank the people that I work with…”
