Yhoooo! T.I.: I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a dash dash, you can take a joke

In the December issue of Vibe T.I. shares about gays being too sensitive. Not a good way to share, but he surely meant well. A piece from the article below, this is what T.I. says…

Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, ‘C'mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a dick, you can take a joke.' [Cracks up laughing.] That shit was funny to me. And it's kind of true.' While T.I. makes clear that he supports anyone's sexual preference, he then connects, in his opinion, a current oversensitivity among gay people with a consequential and ironic offense of the First Amendment. "They're like, ‘If you have an opinion against us, we're gonna shut you down.' ... That's not American. If you're gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you're against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.'

This is my favourite part that I came across while reading the article, “If you're gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you're against it you should have the right to be against it in peace.” With this in your cleverness will you declare T.I. as being too homophobic or a celebrity with a point to get across? I personally feel besides the way language is used that he didn’t discriminate against the homosexuals at all. And that’s just how I happen to observe his words.

The language might be a problem to some, which gives them the “right” to say he was too rude. Well, if you’re sensitive as he says then you’ll spot a huge problem in the manner in which he crafted his wise words. He spoke openly, he has opinions like any of us, he’s not like us, and he’s a celebrity which makes whatever he says powerful and influential to the person on the ground…

So what?
