Founder of Legends Barbershop, Sheldon Tatchell announced on Tuesday that he's finally launched a school to help potential barbers not to go through the difficult processes of learning a skill.
"I was 14 years old when I turned to barbering as a way to escape the reality of poverty that surrounded me," said Sheldon Tatchell.
He continued to say that he learned the skill by visiting different barbers around his area to gain knowledge on how to cut hair.
"I learned this skill by visiting different barbers in my area to gain knowledge on how to cut hair and the different methods they use. They chased me away many times and I just returned, with a bottle of cold drink as a bribe for my next lesson. Simple as this sounds, it was the best way to learn something I love," said Sheldon Tatchell.
He continued to say: "I promised myself that one day I would open a school and help potential barbers not to go through the difficult process of learning a skill. Today that dream is now a reality."
