We’re
proud to announce that Professor Patrick LO Lumumba the Kenyan orator,
intellectual, legal expert and scholar returns to our shores on 08
September. Prof Lumumba was last in South Africa in July 2018, when he
presented the keynote address at the Nelson Mandela Centenary Memorial
Lecture 2018.
Professor
Patrick LO Lumumba is known throughout the continent for his
thought-provoking and hard-hitting stance on matters affecting Africa.
His oratory prowess allows him the rare ability to pronounce candidly
and courageously on the leadership challenges facing Africa. He treads
freely on “no-go zones” such as corruption on the continent,
post-colonial leadership effectiveness, the influence of the western
media on Africa and African unity (which he asserts to be the only way
to avert the re-colonialization of the continent).
Prof Lumumba will be addressing more than Two Thousand South African leaders at the 10th Vaal High Impact Leadership Summit 2018 (with
Prof Patrick LO Lumumba). His address will take place alongside Ms
Felleng Yende (CEO: FP&M SETA), Prof Gordon Ndodomzi Zide (Social
Scientist & Vice-Chancellor: VUT), Mr Khandani Msibi (Group CEO:
3Sixty Financial Services Group) and Ms Maphefo Anno Frempong (CEO: Transport SETA) amongst other noteworthy leaders.
Professor Patrick LO Lumumba says “I’m
so excited to be back in South Africa! I look forward to engage with
other leaders to tackle prickly issues affecting the country and the
continent at large. This event is a must to attend for all who recognize
the transformational potential of sober leadership.”
The keynote address will take place at the full day leadership Summit (08:00 – 16:00)
at the Koinonia Bible Church Auditorium in Sebokeng Zone 14, on 08
September 2018. The audience will be composed of C-Suite executives and
leaders from government and civil society.
The
Vaal High Impact Leadership Summit 2018 is organized by Empowaworx
Events & Communication, which houses South Africa’s leading black
owned speakers’ bureau. Empowaworx also represents the African giant
exclusively in Southern Africa.
This event is set to provoke courageous conversations as the leaders engage on delicate leadership matters.
