All White Gospel Picnic – a family treat awaits

The manicured greens of Carnival City Festival Lawns in Ekurhuleni will play host to gospel lovers when the All White Gospel Picnic sweeps into town on Saturday 04th November 2017 from 10am.

The picnic boasts an entertainment bill of 20 artists, fit for a top notch gospel concert catering for various influences and tastes. Headlined by the legendary Sipho Makhabane, the line-up features heavyweights such as Judith Sephuma, Dumi Mkokstad, Betusile Mcinga, Zaza Mokhethi, Tebello Sukwene and the golden couple Nqubeko Mbatha and Ntokozo Mbambo.

Crowd pullers Thinah Zungu, Khaya Mthethwa and Sipho Ngwenya will also entertain the fun seekers. Completing the star studded programme are Shaun P, Mabongi, Janine Price, Mawat, Sicelo Moya, Xolani Jwaga, Verona and We Will Worship.

The charming radio presenter and host, Thami Ngubeni will share the MCing duties with Sphumi Mabena and Vusi Gcabashe.

The outdoor lifestyle event is aimed at families with its child-friendly approach. Families are invited to soak in the sun and buffet of fun that will be laid out for both young and old on the day. The picnic is scheduled to end at midnight.

Khanyi Magubane, the co- founder of All White Gospel Picnic comments: “As we fast approach the festive period where families will spend quality time together, the picnic provides an opportunity for bonding over great music, beautiful sunny weather and positive vibes of the ambiance”.

“We have seen a demand for such gatherings growing in the past few years in the form of festivals which are regrettably not family friendly.  We want to create a national lifestyle event where Christians and non-Christians can get together, have a great time and enjoy great gospel music from multi-award winning artists.” adds Thulani Sicongwana, of Kay Tee Lifestyle Events and event co-founder.
