Vengeance hits home - buckle up for the ride of your life.

It’s fast! It’s furious! It’s here… and the only way to catch all the action and speed of Fast & Furious 7 is on the big screen.

But, Ster-Kinekor has a treat in store for Fast & Furious fans around the country: you can be among the first in the world to watch this much-anticipated movie, with special pre-screenings on April, 1 Wednesday in all cinemas nationwide and the IMAX theatres. Finally, the wait is over… so, buckle up for the ride of your life!

Following the pre-screenings for the 5pm, 8pm and 10pm shows only on April 1, Fast & Furious 7 then races onto Ster-Kinekor and IMAX® screens in spectacular fashion on April 2, for the film’s national release – and right on time for the April holidays.

Bookings are now open to catch the pre-screening of this action-packed, thrills-and-spills-a minute film on the big Ster-Kinekor screens at all sites, and in the three impressive Ster-Kinekor IMAX® theatres.

In Fast & Furious 7, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) is out to seek revenge for the death of his brother, Owen, from Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker).

Following the tragic death of the legendary Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker during the filming of Fast & Furious 7, the future of the Fast franchise, and the final film, have been a focus and concern for fans everywhere. However, the director’s decision to involve Walker’s two brothers in the final stages of production ensured the film’s completion in time for its global release on 03 April.

Continuing the global exploits in this unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favourites including Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black.

This popular group of actors is joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell. Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell return to produce the film written by Chris Morgan.

For the die-hard IMAX® fans, Ster-Kinekor will also be screening Fast & Furious 7 in its three IMAX® theatres – at Gateway in Durban, The Grove in Pretoria East and the recently-opened Cape Gate in Cape Town – in line with the film’s national release at Ster-Kinekor cinemas on April, 2 Thursday.

(Show times on April 1 may differ per cinema site: check www.sterkinekor.com for times and booking info)
