South African duo, Mafikizolo, will headline this year’s Lake of Stars Arts Festival which returns to Sunbird Nkopola Lodge on Lake Malawi from 26 to 28 September 2014.

Having just returned from performing at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards in Los Angeles, 2014 has been a massive year for Mafikizolo. After sweeping the South African Music Awards earlier this year, they took home Best Song of the Year and Best Group at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards.

Fellow South Africa acts John Wizards and Christian Tiger School will make the trip from Cape Town, bringing their electronic sounds to Lake Malawi. In 2014 John Wizards played UK festivals including Glastonbury and Field Day, while Christian Tiger School have just returned from performing at Amsterdam’s Appelsap and South Africa’s Oppikoppi festivals.
