The effervescent Pearl Thusi is set out to be the host of Season 6 of
Tropika Island of Treasure, a reality competition television series
aired on SABC 1, featuring South African contestants competing in an
exotic, paradise-island location for a cash prize of R1 million.
Young, crisp and bursting with confidence, Thusi’s spangling personality will without hesitation serve as a magnet for the young South African audience who got to know her as a participant on the Tropika Island of Treasure series last year, which was shot in Jamaica.

The Durban born star is no stranger to South African audiences as a model, actress and TV
Host. She is most well-known for appearances and roles on
Zone 14, Soul City, Rhythm City, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency, as
well as the host of the Real Goboza, Live Amp and Metro FM Saturday Morning Show with The Real Phat Joe. Thusi is also currently winning over TV audiences starring in the
role of Palesa
Motaung on SABC 3’s award winning soapie Isidingo; where she plays a
young, attractive and assertive 25 year old lawyer with a dark
secret and a desire for revenge.

The Tropika Island of Treasure Season 6 will air on SABC 1 from May 2014
