The fashion world can be a confusing and a reckless place, so sometimes it helps to turn to those who have fought all these battles before. This one person is eloquent enough to have produced amazing soundbites that offer words of enlightenment, point out the subtleties of style, or celebrate what we all love.
As many of you would say, she needs no introduction, calling her a fashion icon would least describe her, she has every young woman's closet, we've seen her style transform from Manhattan fantasy show to the great sensational top billing host, and everything in between. Love her style or loath it, Bonang will not be stopped from posting her great sense of style on Instagram.
This 'grown-up' mogul tried
her hand on mixing prints with a plain denim shirt, slightly folded
sleeves, red skinny pants, and a pair of leopard printed shoes, not to forget
her feminine touch of accessories. She always accessorizes her casual
looks with a pair of well-suited shaped sunglasses, clearly showing her bubbly,
fresh, great persona she has through color.
She still manages to
fabulously mix diva corporate style, rocking a black little black dress (a
must have, showing off her curves), a sparkling blazer with a black and gold
clutch-bag and some gold bangles to complement the jacket. Well, she also shows
how important it is to dress for your body, plus-size or slim person. I must
say Queen B can surely work her body and most importantly knows how to
insinuate it in every outfit.
A party animal she is, this outfit says it all, she's ready to hit the
clubs, with a black fitted pair of leather shorts (once again, showing off her
long beautiful legs); a white round-collar shirt, wrapped up the outfit
with black and silver pooch and a great gold and silver neck piece. Well the
outfit wouldn't be an outfit without a pair of black see-through stilettos.
An African Goddess she looks
in this lovely long white dress, she's definitely dressed for the occasion,
with this angelic look, she accessorized it with a cream colored clutch-bag
with a touch of silver to compliment the neckline of the dress and of course
the bangle, (we definitely learn to dress for the occasion, you don't want
to get to any event "overdressed" or "under-dressed",
important to get the theme right).
This is
the one of my favorites, as I saved the best for last, look at this gorgeous
bold-orange, open-back, pencil skirt dress, this is what we call "a show
stopper"! Definitely an "IT" girl would wear that, showing off
her back, you would swear she's naked but this beautiful dress compliments her
skin tone, with her "warm-toned" body we learn that whatever you
wear, it should compliment your body and this has nothing to do with your
personality.
With the little we have gone through, I can say she proudly wears
what she wants with the attitude of whatever she is wearing represents a symbol
of her individuality and belief in personal freedom. Most of the garments she wears
scream that clothes make a woman and naked people have little or no influence
on society.
She recently clinched an awesome deal with Revlon as the FACE of the brand!
