"Music Is Love" with the Great Unathi Msengana at the Lyric Theatre Tomorrow!

Metro FM’S Unathi Msengana returns to the Lyric Theatre with her brand new concert, “Music is Love”, for one night only tomorrow.

Singer, songwriter, Idols judge and radio host, Unathi recently released her third studio album “With Love”, hot on the heels of her sophomore album “In Honour” which received Gold Status.

Audiences at the Lyric Theatre loved her when she last graced the stage in 2010, so much so that the demand has been such to bring her back to this stage. With a band of 9, and a first of its kind in the form of an all-female vocal collaboration on stage, Unathi pledges to provide her fans with a breathtaking show not to be missed.

Unathi will thrill patrons with instantly recognizable hits such as We Thembisile, A Mother’s Love, Kwa Nolali, Sana Lwam, amongst many others, alongside some brand new tracks, providing an evening full of wonderful surprises.

Joining Unathi on stage will be the phenominal voices of Guest Artsts Thiwe and Metro FM Music Awards nominees Noluthando Meje (best known for her hit “Feeling”) and Nandi Mngomo (performing her hit song “Mnandi”). Showcasing unique collaborations, Unathi and her guests will be speaking and singing of love in all its forms and guises.

UNATHI – Music is Love promises to be a celebration of love and its many facets, performed by some of South Africa’s finest female vocal talents, backed by a spectacular 9-piece band, ensuring an evening of tantalising delight for the audience.

The show runs two hours including a 20-minute interval. No under 3’s for patron comfort.
UNATHI – MUSIC OF LOVE takes place on Friday 3 May at 20h30 at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City.

Early Bird ticket prices for tickets bought ahead of performance date are R130, and are available through Computicket or at The Lyric Theatre Box Office. Tickets bought on the day or at the door will be R160.
