Johannesburg - Dream Team SA made an official announcement this morning of their signing on of Xhosa rap extraordinaire, iFani. iFani, previously with Sony Music South Africa, now joins an impressive stable of talent under Dream Team SA management such as Khuli Chana, Terry Petho, Kabelo Mabalane, Tumisho Masha, Thembi Seete and Azania Mosaka just to mention a few.
“I'm very honoured, I feel blessed that a team of hard and smart working people can see value in what I do and are happy to push me even further. I can finally see my dreams getting closer and closer. Tjovitjo, b'reiy!!!” exclaimed iFani about his signing with Dream Team SA.
iFani was born and bred in the Eastern Cape, before going on to study at the University of Cape Town from which he graduated with a BSC Hons in Computer Science & Computer Engineering. It wasn’t until a fatal car accident in 2010, that made iFani pursue his musical talents more seriously.
He realized that life was too short and decide to chase his first love which was music. iFani made his official debut into the music industry with his track Ewe which received positive acclaims across the country and made him stand out as a talented artist to look out for.
iFani’s present single Shake, is currently receiving major airplay across the country and is the perfect introduction to his I Believes in Me album which was released on the 29th April 2013 and is in all major music stores nationwide.
