BET Awards: "I am more humble than yesterday..." says Donald!

South African hit-maker  Donald Moatshe!
News you need to know: Twitter went buzzing on Tuesday and all the congratulations poured from both artists and fans!

Although it came as a HUGE SHOCK that Donald Moatshe did not see the game at the MTN SAMA 19 this year, yet he's nominated at the BET Awards with Toya Delazy...

We saw the unfairness of the
MTN SAMA  for not honoring deserving talent in South Africa and this should embarrass them for closing doors for independent artists...

Donald and Toya Delazy have raised the bar of Mzansi music to an international level and people or rather bodies who can spot talent and award it fairly have noticed that, from the Metro FM Music Awards and now, BET Awards.

Wow! For Best Act in Africa! Do you want to be reminded how big is Africa and how many talented artist in the continent? I guess not!

Speaking to Donald he told GoXtra News that he's more humble than he was yesterday and he really appreciates life even more now.

We asked about the lack of nominations at the MTN SAMA 19, "For me the SAMA lack of nomination is not a problem at all, I know that I am not the first artist not to be nominated, we don't know what happens in those meetings and it is difficult for me to be angry..." said Donald.

The happy Donald told GoXtra News that he took the lack of nominations with a humble heart because it was not his time and his time will come... "Just continue to work even more harder." said MR I Deserve.

Donald told GoXtra News that he's busy working on his new album and the pre-production is going well in terms of writing music and getting few things together.

We asked about his career in two years, "There's no need to rush, just work hard and do everything good." he said.

Donald Moatshe would also like to thank his supporters for truly believing in him...

Toya Delazy scooped 3 awards at the MTN SAMA 19
Among the performers Chris Brown and R. Kelly were also announced, and "Friday" actor Chris Tucker will be the host, when it airs live June 30.

The BET Awards were established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans and other minorities in music, acting, sports, and other fields of entertainment over the past year.

The awards are presented annually, and they are broadcast live on BET. BET commissioned Artist/Sculptor and Hip Hop culture icon Carlos Mare 139 Rodriguez to design the Award sculpture. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a widely viewed televised ceremony.
