Johannesburg – Durban based, uKhozi FM, Africa’s largest radio station based on
listenership, have welcomed the Major League DJz as a weekly feature on their
Vuka Mzansi Breakfast Show on Thursday mornings at 08:40am.
The
weekly mixes from the Major League DJz, dubbed the “Vuka Mix”, will consist of
an amplified commercial & old school mixture of Hip Hop, RNB and Kwaito
with live drum percussions.
“We
are excited about this new weekly mix feature on uKhozi FM. It’s a privilege to
get exposed to such a large audience and share our talents on a radio platform”
expressed the Major League DJz.
The
Major League DJz are no strangers to the South African entertainment scene.
They have opened up for numerous local and international acts, most recently
for Kanye West and Kid Cudi during their South African visits. They also own
the Urban Breeze property which sees weekly events happening in the townships
promoting the Hip Hop culture in South Africa.
