Glambition, an
exciting fresh celebrity beauty show presented by former Miss South Africa and
renowned television personality, Jo-Ann Strauss, starts on Monday, 8 April at
8.30PM.
This locally produced 13 episode
talk-show will address the various facets of the beauty industry through the
eyes of some of Mzansi’s finest ladies, mothers, sisters and women with
glam-power across various industries. The mysteries of balancing the powerful
blend of glamour and ambition will be unravelled.
“Glambition is a new and exciting talk
format with a well-crafted twist. The series aims to inspire and will feature
achievers, go-getters and overall showcase some of South Africa’s most talented
and influential personalities who possess glamour, ambition and a drive to succeed.
We hope the show will be able to enthuse and inspire our viewers with great
entertainment value and uplifting stories“, commented Channel Head, Monde
Twala.
The half hour long talk-show will have
viewers gripped to their screens with a weekly dose of inspirational celebrity
guests, trendy fashion and beauty tips; plus a mix of lifestyle topics – all
through the distinctive perspective of the poised Jo-Ann Strauss.
Topics will range from local power
couples, cultural beauty to more controversial issues such as the dynamic black
hair market, plastic surgery and posing nude.

years of planning and preparation, my new TV show is finally coming to
fruition. Being a producer is hard work, but also gives one a chance to tell other’s
stories and create great television. The show will showcase strong, beautiful

Jo-Ann Strauss has presented television
in South Africa for the past 12 years, which has helped her hone her production
skills giving birth to Africa’s largest online presenter search and now
Glambition.
