Mxolisi Masango to bag a role on Muvhango?

Mzansi's actor, presenter Mxolisi Masango (22), who was introduced to viewers across South Africa as Spoke on the popular SABC1'S Tshisa drama is rumored to be in the line to join SABC2'S flagship soapie Muvhango.

Sources close to the soapie say the dancer and former FIFA mascot Zakumi is as close as a rat to a slice of cheese to bagging the awesome gig. "They called him back to tell him that he's been shortlisted, he's young and the producers can't stop drawing back to his name." said the source.

When Masongo was called for comment, he refused, but said, "I auditioned for the role of Vusi Mukwevho like everybody else but I haven't heard anything from the show yet." His Manager Floyd Pillay told GoXtra News that Mxolisi has a lot to look forward to this year and we should not focus on "hearsay."

Meanwhile, Masango also hosted the auditions for player escorts with Brian Baloyi and Neil Tovey for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations 2013 (AFCON).


Kgalema Mametse, publicist for Muvhango told the entertainment-home that Mxolisi have been called-back and shortlisted for the role but call-backs have not been finalized yet.

"We are still doing call-backs and some re-writes on the character because we write our storyline very early." said Kgalema Mametse.
