It's been a quiet a busy year and yes I know most of our loyal readers have been happy  about our wonderful content that graced bigger media houses such as, Vuzu TV, Drum Magazine and Sunday Sun.

  
As much as I try my best to keep the publication running, the pain and suffer is also among the things that make me keep it afloat. I am in need of writers who are willing to contribute to this platform and make it their home.
 
I had last year lost two writers who couldn’t participate anymore because of their commitments such as, full time work and other related reasons.
 
As the founding owner and editor of the publication and a caring person to keep people informed, I have a huge vision for the online publication that has been viewed by at least more than 100 countries. I hope it will be the most beneficial to those who become part of it.
 
With that being said I am looking for new writers who will be able to take the publication to greater heights. 

 
Requirements:

* Be an Excellent writer and have the Passion to write!
* Be from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Free State and Eastern Cape.
* Have an interest in either Fashion, entertainment/music/celebrities, events, sports, current affairs, politics and anything interesting about the Country at large.
* Be well driven, informed and motivated treating everything with a sharp eye for news.
Preference will be given to current or former Journalism, photography and Graphic/Web development students.

NOTE: Please do not apply if you don’t meet the above requirements, we really need reliable and hard-working individuals.

You will also get to be trained in news gathering by myself as a qualified journalist, has done research for publications such as Discovery Health Magazine, under (Jane Surtees - Managing Editor). Freelanced for Drum Magazine.

Keep in mind that we are well known and you might be spotted by bigger publications through your article, it happened to one of our writers and now he's also owning his online magazine. 

How To Apply:

If you think you have understood the above terms well. Send us your story to editor@goxtranews.com about your chosen interest(s) as listed above and you will hopefully be shortlisted.
 
Successful candidates are subject to sign a 12 month contract with us which includes benefits and not a salary, but a stipend fee to be able to attend events and/or press conferences, and only and if you are scheduled to attend such events.
