"Uthando Novuyo" simply means love and happiness/joy - Shugasmakx featuring the legendary Ringo Madlibgozi and SFS (Reggae Artist). The song/music video encourages Africans to love each other - the song is or was rather influenced by the widespread xenophobia attacks that were experienced 2008 by Africans in South Africa. "Today we are going back to Alexander township, where it all began and we spread a message of love, peace, joy and African Unity."
The trio decided to shoot the music video after the song made its chance and rotating around South African radio stations - it's joyfulness to see our role models uniting Africans with love and joy.
