GoTv Channel Monday Special: SLIKOUR - Blacks R Foolz (We Better Than That)

Our Monday special is "Blacks R Foolz" by popular rap artist Slikour. The song has made many blah-blah's to many South Africans resulting in it being banned by the local broadcaster (SABC) from its television and radio stations. "It has not been played on SABC1 or any other radio station since the outcry because our policy stipulates that we should not play anything that promotes hate speech," says SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago. As reported by the Sunday World.

Indeed the song needed a nation with education because without that no one can really understand Slikour. I would say that Slikour is just a mouth piece to what is being said about "blacks" and the song is advocating for an attitude change. And it is also true that we "blacks" are so materialistic while we're the ones with the most average jobs in the top sector management positions.

As long we know Slikour was on point and sang about the burning issues in our country we see no need to burn his music video on our platform at all. This is a wake up call to everyone in the country and not "blacks" only. Comedians have a massive platform to be racist and "we" know that, but who complained about that freedom of speech? Through music SA was liberated and now that does not apply anymore?

Slikour was not I assume with plausible lyrics in the song trying to be racist or whatever but communicating a valid point in a country where monkeys do as they please - an emerging Banana state. Unfortunately for Slikour he had to take those punches for his craft. Does this mean less royalties for Slikour?

Listen to the song and take Slikour as the mouth piece of something said about "blacks"
