Yesterday I was invited by ZenOne Productions at attend a splendid event at Carnival City One Night In Africa, presented by Breakout Management. There I got a chance to interview the likes of Noxolo Tshabalala and got an invite from Theo Kgosinkwe to attend his music video shoot today at Rosebank. I saw the likes of the stunning Zakes Bantwini taking the centre stage and gave the audience a wow performance as usual, his dance moves incorporated with nice swings that made everyone move for the whole session. Thandiswa Mazwai made me appear like an emotional bird, thus I captured her performance below.
Watching her perform like this (Video Below), I felt like crying as it took me to realize that she's Xhosa (a nguni tribe) and yet she does not let go of her roots as an artist. One thing though growing up with my grandfather as Igqirha (Traditional Doctor) I would say Mazwai has a calling.

We APOLOGIES for the MISSING "A" of M"a"zwai in the video...
