Cape Town: Top Model Vuyolwethu Mpila Set For The Cavalli Fashion Show in London

On the 10th of current month Vuyolwethu Mpila a Cape Town (South Africa) social lite and fashion model is set and ready to go to the Cavalli fashion show, which will be held in London. He’s among the fashion models that will be showcasing Cavalli Clothing line by Roberto Cavalli. The show will start from the 14th to 18th August, it will still be on November but dates will be announced approaching the time.

Vuyolwethu is a finalist of and got the event or rather gig through his agent Model Management (www.modelmanagement.com). He always wanted to be a TOP model in Cape Town. “I am very excited with this achievement and to me it’s just a start at the age of 20… I am still going to surprise many,” He said. In terms of the shift on his modelling career Mpila takes this as an opportunity that just knocked and many doors will open as he’s working on many clothing labels.


He’s looking forward to come with different fashion trends in London… “Watch!” he shouted. There are 12 finalists him from South Africa, Paris, and Democratic republic of Congo, Berlin, Germany, Barcelona and London. He also happens to be the South African fresh face of 2011. He will be going through workshops as well, so the young man is also looking forward to put his designs on the map. On the fashion show he’s expecting to gain a lot in modelling not as a career but a business. Looks like Mpila is emerging as a young business man with his own odds and the eagerness to learn something out of his current career.

Just a slight preview: Vuyolwethu also appeared in the local television commercial of Whitestar Super Maize Meal…

VM is looking forward to the new start in his life. “I am a humble man.” He uttered. To all the other aspiring models Vuyolwethu says modelling is not an easy job, but it’s worth patience and of course the talent. “It goes with education as well.” He concluded.
