Here Are The Details About Zola 7 & Mobicel Endorsement Deal

South African technology giant Mobicel has partnered with legendary kwaito musician, poet, TV  presenter, and actor, Bonginkosi Dlamini popularly known as Zola 7 in a new endorsement deal.

The  endorsement enabled Zola 7 to take part in this past weekend’s event, A Night with Legends, the first of its kind aimed at celebrating legends. This year’s event focused on kwaito legends, with performances from Arthur, Kabelo, Oskido, Thebe, and Mdu. Zola performed as a surprise act,  sponsored by Mobicel.

Both Dlamini and Mobicel are proudly South African home-grown brands that have always challenged the societal status quo when given the chance.

“We are excited to partner with this South African icon whose legacy has been to assist people to make positive changes in their communities and their personal lives. Mobicel believes that this is the  perfect partnership as both Zola and Mobicel share a passion for empowering South Africans and  encouraging people to strive to be more.”

“This partnership will further strengthen Mobicel’s commitment to be more, as it continues to lead the transformation of the South African tech industry by bridging the digital divide through an ever-growing product range,” said Mobicel marketing director Yusuf Akojee.

What Has Made Mobicel So Appealing To Most South Africans?

What has made Mobicel so appealing to most South Africans is that the company understands the needs of the ordinary South African and offers the most value-for-money quality smartphones. More importantly, Mobicel has given more South Africans access to the world of apps and the Internet, which opens new levels of opportunity and global reach.

As part of the endorsement deal with Zola, South Africans must expect exciting product experience campaigns and activations featuring the kwaito legend planned for the coming months. Keep a look out for Mobicel and Zola’s social media pages as they cook something amazing for Mzansi.

I've Received A Lot Of Support From The Public

I have received a lot of support from the public and the entertainment industry and am truly grateful for that. Being a Mobicel ambassador reignites my passion to want to give back more to society and get back into the swing of things in a meaningful manner. What Mobicel has done for the people is  great – they allowed South Africans to stay connected” said Dlamini.
