The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival 2019 Save the Date

Taking place on House on Fires lawns overlooking the scenic Malkerns valley in e’Swatini, just a four hour drive from Johannesburg, The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is  back for a second year with its  one-day lavish feast of music, fashion, entertainment, culinary exploits, and connoisseur led premium wine and whiskey showcases.

After a hugely successful inaugural edition, the unique and sophisticated African-vintage styled event celebrating the local, the wholesome, the creative, and the delicious, will take place on August 3rd 2019.

The  proudly African vintage theme pays homage and celebrates Africa’s beauty and style, through all our senses, from the past to the present and to the future. It’s a journey of the senses where our ears are awakened by the sounds of Miriam Makeba’s township jazz to Fela Kuti’s hip swaying afrobeat music.

The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival space is created via unique locally infused architecture and the inviting farm-style warmth of Malandela’s Restaurant. This spacious and beautiful venue enables festival goers to leisurely interact with a range of lifestyle activations designed for the whole family.

Showcasing the amazing and diverse tastes of Southern Africa, the festival hosts a range of top chefs, wineries, breweries, eateries as well as artisans, and of course, an amazing line-up of music. With a focus on the local, regional and distinctly African tastes, styles, sounds and trends, Luju is unlike any other food and lifestyle event in the region.

We are allowed to dream and live a lifestyle of true African distinction at the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle festival, a celebration of the finest of who we are and who we will forever be.

August 3rd 2019 is a day not to be missed for any food enthusiasts, culture buffs and travellers looking for a memorable sensory experience!
