South Africa to Nigeria - Mezzo Piano ft Lungi Naidoo, Unwind

JOHANNESBURG: With so much dedication, hardwork and radio airplay from South Africa to Nigeria, a huge breakthrough is nearing for South Africa's muso, Mezzo Piano.

Mezzo Piano's recent single Unwind has seen him collaborating with the sensational Lungi Naidoo and was released late last year for Radio and early this year digitally. 

Unwind has graced Ligwalagwala's FM top 20 Charts for a good seventeen  weeks and was also on their countdown for the new year at number 30. Metro FM is also playing the song, including Rise FM in Mpumalanga, BCR, Inanda and it's on high rotation on Nigeria's Cool FM.

Mezzo Piano, real name Dumisane Shongwe (25), said that the inspiration behind Unwind was Lungi's voice on Love on Fire by the internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee.

"I told my friends that my dream was to work with her (Lungi Naidoo), but they didn't believe me and on my side it was a dream as well, but it finally happened," said the budding producer who has also worked with DJ Clock.

Mezzo Piano's debut album will drop in April at a date to be announced later.

The song has been released digitally on iTunes, Joox, Spotify, Amazon and Deezer.
