GOSPEL GOES CLASSICAL RECORDED LIVE AT CARNIVAL CITY

The much loved annual event is coming back to its Carnival City home and promises to take things a notch higher as part of its 5th Year Anniversary celebration. With previous year’s events having set the bar quite high, music lovers are set for an amazing evening as the event focuses on Africa via the theme: AFRICA WORSHIP Edition, this will also be a Live DVD Recording.
The previous editions having featured great Artists such as Donnie McClurkin, Jonathan Butler, Benjamin Dube, Rebecca Malope and the late Sfiso Ncwane, Dlophe Records have gone all out to bring some of the best talent currently on offer in the world of gospel music, not only that but featured Artists will be a representatives of 5 countries (South Africa, United State, Nigeria, Ghana and Swaziland), coinciding with its 5th year celebration.

Topping the bill will be award-winning Vashawn Mitchell, Joe Mettle, Nduduzo Matse and Ntokozo Mbambo.
The US Based Vashawn Mitchell was the most nominated artist at the 27th Annual Stellar Awards; receiving 11 nods and walking away with 6 statues. His single ‘’No body greater’’ was the most played song of the year and spent 9 weeks on Billboard’s Gospel songs chart. He was also nominated for 2 Grammy Awards at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards and received 2 nominations at the DOVE Awards.
Ntokozo Mbambo is no stranger to South African Gospel Music Lovers. Not only has her albums won SAMAs, Crowns Gospel Award and even an Africa Gospel Music Award, she has also toured across the globe. She has also shared stage with acclaimed Gospel musicians like Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin and Cece Winans.

Other Artists performing on the night includes Lebohang Kgapola, Takie Ndou, Tshepo Price, Keneiloe Hope, Sicelo Moya, Classical Worship Choir and Yvonne May. All performing artists will be joined by a full orchestra and a 35-member choir. There will also be one surprise artist on the line up and the Patrons are in for a treat.
VIP will be treated to a pre-concert starting from 17h00 till 18h00 with surprise Artists, it will an hour to remember. They will also be spoiled with goodies arranged specifically for the VIP Patrons.
The event takes place on 27 October 2018 at Carnival City, Brakpan. Tickets range from R240 to R450 and are currently available at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets countrywide.
