Five Minutes With Expresso’s Mosa Kaiser

Johannesburg - The fourth season of Presenter Search on 3 came to a jaw-dropping end earlier this month and six brand new faces joined the SABC 3 family. While initially looking for three new presenters to join the SABC 3 stable, judges Patience Stevens, DJ Fresh, Sbusiso Kumalo and Jeannie D were impressed by the overwhelming amount of talent and have decided to open up the industry even further by welcoming Harmony Katulondi, Ryle De Morny, Fezile Mkhize, Palesa Tembe, and Thabiso Makhubela to the SABC 3 family with Mosa Kaiser grabbing a role as Expresso’s new field presenter.

Mosa’s bubbly personality, intelligence and style helped her stand out from her very first audition. Throughout her Presenter Search On 3 journey, the star continued to give 110% week after week which helped her clinch the role of Expresso’s new field presenter.

This role will see Mosa covering various events and interviews on location with the inserts flighting on South Africa’s feel-good breakfast show.

Get to know Mosa better with this short Q&A:

What has been the highlight of your time on Presenter Search on 3?

My Presenter Search on 3 highlight was being part of the Expresso take-over and interviewing Prince Kaybee. To be quite honest, that challenge made me realise there that I have longevity in this presenting industry.

What has been the biggest lesson this experience has taught you?

The biggest lesson I learned has been that I must truly trust my journey and God's timing. Hard work and faith goes a long way.

How would you describe your presenting style?

My presenting style is authentic, real, classic and full of life

You have quite a lot of experience in acting. How different is acting to TV Presenting?

Acting and radio are worlds apart from presenting. With acting, you take a character and embody it and with presenting, you are or it's advised to be 100 percent yourself. The transition was really simple for me I just needed to tone my God given energy down. My Presenter Search on 3 journey got me to a place where I can adapt my personality to different working scenarios.

What are you going to be bringing to Expresso as one of their field reporters?

I'm definitely going to be bringing tons of spunk to the show and the inserts I get to present. Let’s not forget about the loads of awesome content I will be bring all the viewers too!

Describe the moment you heard your name and knowing that you will be one of the field reporters on Expresso?

Ecstatic! It was amazing experience and one I struggle to describe. I totally deserved that job! I really think it is the perfect job for me. I am super proud of myself.

Now that you have stepped into your role on Expresso, have the first few episodes been everything you thought it would be or have there been a few surprises for you?

The first few shoots have been everything I thought it would be and just so much more. I love the fact that I'm meeting a lot of people some who have already started investing in my career. I have been pleasantly surprised.

Do you have any pre-show rituals you do in order to prepare yourself before going live? If so, what are they?

I do. I warm my voice and pray to the Lord almighty! Then obviously slay! But that goes without saying…
