After the sold-out success of Mtukudzi’s show last year, many fans were left disappointed by not getting tickets. Demand for a repeat performance has been overwhelming, and so here he is with his full band, The Black Spirits and he is set to wow fans singing songs from his latest release, Hany’ga released In February this year - his 67th album.
In true Mtukudzi style, he has poured his heart out in words and music on Hany’ga and fans will no doubt get a chance to hear some of the new tracks, as well as favourite hits.
This is the first show that leads to the Bassline Fest 2019, held annually at Constitution Hill on the Africa Day weekend from 24thto 26thMay, Celebrating Africa Day through the universal language of music, and we are honoured to have the legend Oliver Mtukudzi to kick start this “road to”.
