MEET THE MAN WHO WROTE JUSTIN BIEBER’S “PURPOSE” ALBUM – AHEAD OF THE SINGER’S HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SA TOUR THIS MAY
Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd’s documentary exclusively airs on Red Bull TV this month.
Grammy-winning songwriter Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd is the man responsible for Justin Bieber’s first No.1 album, Purpose. With the singer just weeks away from his Purpose World Tour performances in South Africa in May, the timing of the upcoming Red Bull TV documentary “Poo Bear: Afraid of Forever”, which will air on the platform on 29 April 2017, couldn’t be better.
The documentary explores Poo Bear’s collaboration with Bieber as they created the Purpose album, with insights and behind-the-scenes footage that will fascinate Bieber fans across the country.
The documentary also features industry heavyweights Robin Thicke and Cypress Hill to name but a few. This is a never-before-seen look at the people who write the hit songs the world’s biggest artists perform. And the ever-present fear of irrelevance they endure on a daily basis, given a songwriter’s life span is often shorter than a song’s run in the charts.
