Due to the recent termination of the main actors' contracts the soapie has decided to cast new characters for the roles of the fired actors - which include but not limited to, Anga Makubalo, Atandwa Kani, Katlego Danke, Mandla Gaduka, Menzi Ngubane, Nambitha Mpumlwana, Patrick Shai, Slindile Nodangala, Sophie Ndaba, Seputla Sebogodi, Thami Mngqolo, Thato Molamu, Winnie Ntshaba, Zenande Mfenyana, Zikhona Sodlaka and Zolisa Xaluva.
"Mfundi is gatvol with actors with big heads and he wants fresh blood," said a source rubbing shoulders with Mfundi Vundla.
The mole alleges that Bonang Matheba has been cast for the role of Dineo Dlomo played by Katlego Danke, Sizwe Dhlomo is currently negotiating for the gay role of Senzo Dlomo, although he's still not sure about being perceived as being gay, Brenda Ngxoli confirmed that she'll be assuming the role of Noluntu Memela played by Zenande Mfenyane. The other roles are still vacant and will be determined by the outcome of the auditions.
It is also rumoured that Jack Mabaso, Karabo Moroka, Tau Mogale, Archie Moroka will be making a steady come back to Mzansi's most popular soapie.
"Generation is nothing without us and Mfundi knows that and we will do whatever it takes to make sure that we get our jobs back," said a fellow actor who's currently thinking about how she'll pay her bills should Mfundi stick to his guns.
