New South African Lyrics Website has launched!

A local lyrics site has just hit our shore!  Gone are the days when you  would spend endless hours looking for local lyrics to a vernacular song.  Over the years lyrics platforms have had a predominantly global focus with international artists as a core focus but not anymore.

Nine80 Digital Media which owns platforms like Youth Village amongst others  has recently launched a local lyrics platform which cover hip hop, Afro Pop, Motswako, Rock , Afrikaans music, R&B, Kwaito, House , Reggae etc.

The platform has a simple search functionality that allow users to search its massive database for any local song lyrics by artist or by song title and even by song lyrics that they could have heard whilst tuning into a station as the song was fading! 

The platform a music player that enables  users to play the song whilst read through the lyrics and a weekly chart of the trending songs. Kasi lyrics is also packed with good social media integration for easy content share for user at will to their friends and people in their networks.

Built on the notion of user generated content. The KasiLyrics.co.za community enable user to write lyrics to their favourite songs and submit the lyrics to the site.
