It’s the battle of the voices on Clash of the Choirs SA, when two remarkable singers pull all stops to find talent in Eastern Cape and Western Cape.

Tasked with the search for 20 soulful voices, Simphiwe Dana, the jazz and soul sensation is up against R&B star Ziyon from Liquid Deep. She goes into her search knowing the struggle of waiting for your dreams to come true while possessing a voice of gold until someone discovers you. We see her go as far as King Williams Town and Mdantsane.

In Western Cape, Ziyon is twice as challenged. He is not familiar with the neighbourhoods and yet having to blindly unearth talent; but he is determined to break every boundary nonetheless. His journey takes him from surrounding townships to the Cape Flats.

We see the two choirmaster adapting different approaches. Ziyon comes face to face with some contestants from last year’s season. Tough decision lie ahead of their search.
