HERE'S How to ENTER the Woolworths #stylebynight Competition!

IT'S that time of the year to face Winter again - and Woolworths will give us and others invited to preview their 2014 Winter collection! To the store's finest customers here's a chance to win if you will be attending the event!

1. The Woolworths #stylebynight competition (“the competition”) is open to all Woolworths customers attending the Style by Night Fashion event who are over the age of 18 years and resident in South Africa.

2. The competition will be run on Social media platforms including Instagram using #stylebynight. Entries by any other means will not be permitted.

3. Competition entries commence at 6.30pm on 9th April 2014 and terminate at 8pm on 9 April 2014.

4. The winner will be notified between 10 and 10.30pm on the night of the event and will receive their gift within one month of being selected.

5. The chosen winner will receive a double air ticket to New York, including 3 nights’ accommodation and subsistence allowance/per diem/visa costs to the maximum value of R70 000. All other costs are excluded. Use is subject to the terms and conditions set out in clause 18 below. The winner is required to select a travel period where flight and hotel costs fall within the total value of the prize.

 6. To qualify, upload a photo of yourself at the Woolworths #stylebynight event (including name, and surname) between 6.30 and 8pm on the 9^th April at Turbine Hall. Share the update on Instagram using the #stylebynight hashtag.

 7. Multiple entries are not permitted.

 8. The Social Media Manager, overseen by an independent auditor, will select a winner from the entries submitted. The judges’ decision will be final.

 9.The judge’s decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. The winner agrees that their name may be used for publicity purposes, and that entries will be reposted on www.woolworths.co.za and Woolworths social media channels, at the judge’s discretion.

11. The prize is not transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

12. Winner shall be disqualified from the competition in the event that any of their accounts with Woolworths are in arrears or, in the opinion of Woolworths, not in general good order and standing at the time of the prize draw.

13. In the event that the winner cannot be successfully contacted following all reasonable attempts to do so, Woolworths reserves the right to disqualify them from the competition and to draw another winner in his or her stead.

14. By participating in the competition, the prize winners and partner agree to release and hold Woolworths harmless against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this competition or resulting from acceptance and participation in the competition including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

15. This competition shall not be open to Woolworths employees and their family members including the employees and family members of the Woolworths advertising and promotional agencies and distributors.

16.Woolworths reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, the entrants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Woolworths, its advertising and promotional agencies, distributors and their respective employees.

17. Any reference to Woolworths in these terms and conditions shall be deemed to include reference to Woolworths (Pty) Ltd, Woolworths Financial Services (Pty) Ltd and any of their holding, associated or sister companies and subsidiaries.

18. Flight terms and conditions:

18.1 No cash change will be given;

18.2 The flight must be booked within 12 months of the competition

18.3 The value of the gift may not be used to make payments to any Woolworths account or Woolworths Loan or Visa account or utilities account;

18.4 Please safeguard your gift as it cannot be replaced or any value thereon redeemed if lost or stolen.
