Lion of Africa Insurance, in association with Swazitainment Productions, is pleased to announce the return of one of Gauteng’s most popular music concerts, the Lion of Africa Music Expressions series.
Multi-award winning Afro-Jazz songbird, Judith Sephuma, will kick off this phenomenal music extravaganza with a magical live performance at one of South Africa’s most popular theatres, Yamaha Theatre at YAMAHA Woodmead, on Friday, 28 February.
“Last year we made a commitment to unearth new talent in the performing arts arena in South Africa, by featuring some of the country’s top musical performers alongside other emerging creative talent, and we did it. This year promises to be even better. We have amazing concerts in store, that will cater to music lovers of all ages and introduce the public to some of South Africa’s best musicians,” says Rethabile Mahuma, Head of Marketing at Lion of Africa Insurance.
The Lion of Africa music expressions series brings a diverse group of musicians and entertainers to the stage and provides the audience with a fun evening of good music.
Swazi Dlamini, founder of Swazitainment Productions says, “The music expressions series would not have been successful without the dedicated support of music lovers across Gauteng. We thank everyone who came out and supported our artists last year and hope that this year will be even bigger and better.”
The music concerts take place once a month on Friday evenings over a period of nine months and will be staged at various theatres in Gauteng, with plans to reach other provinces in the pipeline.
