ZONKE DIKANA has appropriately timed the release of her Initial LIVE Concert!

And 'Give And Take - Live' Can be the best Christmas present!

Multi-platinum selling songstress, composer and producer Zonke Dikana has appropriately timed the release of her first live concert recording. Released this week on CD and also available on DVD late November!

‘Give And Take – Live’ features over two hours of music across two CD disc set. Including all the hits such as ‘Feelings’, ‘Ngomso’, ‘Uzondilinda’, and ‘Jik’izinto’ among others. All the songs that fans know, love and adore - spanning the last two studio albums. The double CD package also includes the brand new single ‘Say Now’. The single was performed for the first time at this concert and captures the audience responses, singing along with insane familiarity as if they had always known the song.

Every aspect of this recording was conceptualized by Zonke who also composed and musically directed the entire show. Recorded live at the Lyric Theatre in July 2013, ‘Give And Take – Live’ is reflective of Zonke and her music at its very best.  The recording also brings great insight into what differentiates her as the exceptional talent that she is, revealing her true essence. The award-winning musician delivers every performance with intensity and an honesty that would take you by surprise.

“I wanted to create an atmosphere for the audience that they were seated in my home, hence the set design was built around the look and feel of a large entertainment room in my created mansion – the audience are the VIP guests and I am here to entertain and tell my story” said Zonke.

Added Zonke, “I decided to tell my story in the context of the four seasons – and planned the songs in such a way that they followed the seasons from Autumn, into Winter, Spring, and ending on a happy note with Summer. I can’t wait for the DVD to be released later in November 2013 for all to experience for themselves.”

The DVD is scheduled for release on 25 November and the  Audio CD is available in stores this week!
