She is a diva, a top SA entertainer in all genres and a wonderful person, Fiona Ramsay.  Take a peek into her private life – the Fiona behind the curtain. Dali catches up with her at Moemas buying dessert for dinner, what her innermost passions are and her wishes and feelings.  Join Dali in her home as we find out what her best friends have to say about her, well know iconic actress Vanessa Cooke and all round brilliant entertainer Tony Bentel.  

Dali also unearths the real Fiona through a conversation her parents Jean and Raymond Louw (the well -known, controversial Freedom of Press man – ex Rand Daily Mail editor).  How do they feel about their daughter?  Did the tragic death of her brother impact on her career?  What happened to her one and only marriage?  What advice did Fiona get from one of her role models, Dame Judy Dench?

Fiona was born in Johannesburg and went to St Mary’s school.  She always knew she wanted to perform but with particular interest to dance (ballet).  At UCT she studied drama and after graduating she perused acting as a profession and has become one of SA’s top actresses.  She also dialogue coaches for films, has a voice clinic and works with the Park Lane Voice Lab where she satisfies her other passion – medicine.
