Mnatebawen meaning “It’s nice to be you” is the latest single to be dropped by Khuli Chana. Khuli Chana describes the song as a celebratory song and felt it fitting to release the track at this point in his career. The song has been extremely well received during Khuli Chana’s “Thank You” radio tour which his seen him in 4 provinces already and will come to an end next week with a total reach of 8 provinces.
Khuli Chana decided to put a twist to the meaning Mnatebawen which comes across in the music video. Instead of it being just about Khuli Chana and what he has achieved, Khuli Chana sees his success as a journey that has included the community and the music video depicts how he wants to take the community with him to the next stage of his career.
The video was directed by the legendary Teboho Mahlatsi of Bomb Shelter who directed the likes of Yizo Yizo. Khuli Chana is giving his fans the first viewing of the music video at 12h00 today on his YouTube channel, after which is will premier nationwide on SABC 1’s Live AMP at 21h00.
