Chester Missing ends his road-show on the 2nd of June!

The Chester Missing Roadshow is directed by award-winning director Heinrich Reisenhofer, produced by Podium…The Comedy Merchants and proudly presented by eNCA, City Press & DStv. It promises to be a riot of world-class ventriloquism, crazy characters, cutting-edge political commentary and hysterically funny situations.

As a political analyst Mr Chester Missing has broken new ground with his outrageous hard hitting, funny and frank interviews with South Africa’s political elite that include Gwede Mantashe, Zwelinzima Vavi, Helen Zille, Mosioua Lekota, Blade Nzimande, Patricia De Lille,  Bantu Holomisa and others.

It is unprecedented world-wide that a puppet like Chester Missing is able to talk so frankly and directly with the ruling party and opposition alike. He is also a weekly columnist for the award winning news site  www.zanews.co.za

Unfortunately for Chester he is accompanied by his annoying ventriloquist Conrad Koch and Conrad's puppet sidekicks Hilary, the outrageous diva Ostrich and Ronnie, the lunatic green monster. Chester wants to be the star, but these other foolish characters keep getting in the way!

Armed with a Master's degree in Social Anthropology, Conrad Koch is recognized as SA’s top ventriloquist, unique at combining cultural insights with hilarious commentary and puppetry. He is constantly exploring new directions in the ventriloquism art form where the drama of politics lends itself to satire and the theatre stage.

The director of the show Heinrich Reisenhofer is without a doubt one of the country’s most respected and decorated theatre directors. With an impressive body of work over the years, Reisenhofer’s accolades, that are too many to mention include several prestigious Fleur Du Cap Awards. His influence gives this crazy comedic romp direction and gravitas - a delightful mix of entertainment that is sure to blow Johannesburg audiences away.

The Chester Missing Roadshow takes place from the 30th of April to the 2nd of June at the Market Theatre. The shows commence at 20h00 every night,  are 65 minutes long and there is an age restriction PG 13 L. Tickets range from R80 to R160 and are available at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers outlets nationwide.

This is not a show to be missed!! The Chester Missing Roadshow is proudly presented by eNCA, City Press and DStv.
