She's not on the payroll!
Television starlet Pearl Thusi who’s ruling the SABC channel
is now co-hosting with Phat Joe on national radio, Metro FM.
But the station has confirmed that, “As per the last media
statement sent out regarding METRO FM’s line up, you will be aware that Phat
Joe (Majota Kambule) has recently joined the Station as host of The Real Phat
Joe Show on Saturday mornings, 05:00 – 09:00.
The burning question on everyone’s lips is: has Pearl Thusi also joined
METRO FM given the fact that she has been on-air with Joe from the 6th of April.”
Which now boils to one thing, PEARL THUSI IS SIMPLY A
VOLUNTEER at the station, in case you were wondering, she’s not on the station’s
payroll!
“Pearl Thusi is not contracted by METRO FM. However, she is
one of the presenters for RGB and LiveAmp on SABC1. As part of our agreement with Phat Joe, the
Station has allowed him to bring Pearl on as a content contributor.
“This allows METRO FM to leverage on transversal
opportunities presented by our sister channels. Through this arrangement we are
confident that METRO FM’s output will be strengthened.”said Station Manager - Martin
Vilakazi.
