Shocked disbelief!  That probably sums up the response of most South Africans upon hearing the news that beloved Olympic sports hero – Oscar Pistorius had shot and killed his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

  
Two versions have been presented in court – Pistorius maintains it was an accident – he thought Reeva was a burglar.  The state argues it was premeditated murder.
