Breaking News: Lady Gaga announces ill-health!


Tuesday - "Due to a case of sinusitis, (severe inflammation of the joints) Gaga’s doctor has ordered her to postpone show in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton."  tweeted the pop-star via her Twitter @ladygaga page with 34, 045, 309 followers.

"There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Way Ball. I'm so sorry. I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last night's performance I could not walk and still can't." said Lady Gaga. 

To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton she hopes they can forgive her, as it is nearly impossible for her to forgive herself. "I'm devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I'm sorry." said the Queen of Pop.

The musician said she had been in pain for a month before deciding to delay some of her upcoming shows. Thousands of messages of support poured from her official Facebook page.

The postponed performances are as follows:
Feb. 13 & 14 – Chicago, IL - United Center
Feb. 16 – Detroit, MI – Palace of Auburn Hills
Feb 17 – Hamilton, ON – Copps Coliseum 

An offical press statement said, fans holding tickets to the affected performances are advised to retain their tickets pending confirmation of rescheduled dates. Refunds for the postponed performances if required will be available at point of purchase.
