Khuli Chana, real name Khulane Morule, is practiced in vernacular rap, Motswako, and earned huge success in 2010 for his Tswak Sticke’m.

For the very first time this year, he will be performing at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. “Being excited is an understatement... I'm so honoured to have been chosen to share the stage with international and local greats. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for.” said Khuli Chana

He told GoXtra News that it’s 2013 and the audience must be ready to be blown away, “Get your tickets and I promise you won’t be disappointed.” added Khuli Chana.

We asked him what it means to be booked for a gig alongside well-known local and international Jazz legends, and he told us, “It only means that Motswako Hip Hop is finally getting the recognition it deserves and I'm grateful to be a part of that.”

Khuli haven’t attended the Jazz Festival yet, but he told us that it has been always his plan to but now that he’ll be performing there makes it even sweeter. “It’s a dream come true.” concluded Khuli Chana.

His latest offer ‘Lost In Time’ is currently available in all leading record stores and digitally online.

Known as Africa's Grandest Gathering, the festival will be in its fourteenth year when it takes place on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 April 2013 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
