Dreamteam South Africa sign on Major League DJz!

Johannesburg - Dreamteam SA made an official announcement this morning of their signing on of twin DJs, Bandile and Banele Mbere, better known as Major League DJz. This dynamic duo is no strangers to the entertainment scene and is definitely a set worth keeping your eyes on. Major League DJz have played alongside SA’s best DJs and performers as well as some international acts. Locally they are the official DJs to Motswako Hip Hop performer, Khuli Chana and brand ambassadors for New Balance shoes and Skull Candy products.

“We are so happy to be joining one of the best or even the best talent management group in the entertainment industry in South Africa. We are glad we have got to a stage in our career where we are recognised by Dreamteam SA for our talents. It’s just an honour from our side to be part of the Dreamteam now” shares Major League DJz.

Major League DJz are joining a family of industry heavy weights under Dreamteam SA such as the likes of Kabelo Mabalane, Terry Phetho, Tumisho Masha, Nkhensani Nkosi, Azania Mosaka, Thembi Seete, TKZee, and Khuli Chana just to mention a few. Dreamteam SA is a boutique 360 degrees talent management business that manages brands within the music, arts, broadcasting and sports industries.

“We at Dreamteam SA are delighted to welcome Major League DJz to the family. They are young, energetic, highly talented and with lots of promise. We endeavour to mould and strengthen their brand to place them amongst the best hip hop acts in South Africa” expresses Dreamteam SA Director, Refiloe Ramogase.

Exposed to music at a very young age, Major League DJz were highly influenced by the sounds of Jazz and Hip-Hop music which ushered them into the entertainment industry in their early teens. The duo’s vision is to use music to unify youth across Africa. Major League DJz aspire to play music for Africa by Africans in an attempt to change the perception of African Hip Hop. “We want to promote our musicians, our culture and our diversity” explains Major League DJz. The twins are well on their way to achieving this goal through their Urban Breeze events which currently occur weekly in the Alexandra township and have steered up a generous Hip Hop following in an otherwise House music dominated territory.

Major League DJz are featured on the opening line-up for the much anticipated Kanye West concert happening on 2 February 2013.
