The Zimbabwe Herald Online has reported that Miami rapper Rick Ross will head to Nigeria to headline the Summer Jam Fest 2012 concert in August.

Reports stated that he (Ross) will be performing in Lagos, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, where this year’s Summer Jam Fest will take place. If you did not know according to reports the 2012 edition of Summer Jam Fest is aimed at promoting a healthy and proper lifestyle.

It was further revealed that the concert is being sponsored by St Eve Concepts, a wellness and enzymatic weight management company in West Africa.


The Herald also reported that the news of Rick Ross’ headlining performance at Summer Jam Fest 2012 comes just a week after the rapper was sued by a different Nigerian promoter, for skipping out on last year’s festival, due to “Security concerns.”

The 2012 Summer Jam Fest will take place, August 17, 2012.
