Je T'aime!
Bongani Nx, popularly known as the voice behind
the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2010 soccer world cup, is not only a
presenter of The perfect Shishebo show
on SABC 1, Co-presenter of Sound
Check Live on M-Net, and 94.7 Highveld
Stereo’s Traffic Man on the Breakfast express show; he is also an entrepreneur
who owns a indie Label, Kamak productions, a singer, songwriter and Producer
and a preferred Voice over (VO) Artist for many TV and radio Adverts as well as
a sought after MC for most prestigious events. He continues to capture the
showbiz industry in many spheres.
Following his self titled debut album in 2009, Bongani Nx reintroduces himself
with a bang in his latest offering.
In this album, Bongani Nx goes back to the
roots with an Afro-Soul Sound.
He brings a unique, daring and ground breaking amalgamation of sounds and styles. The sound incorporates an undertone of African sounds from all over the continent (Zouk, Brazilian Samba, Kizomba, Mbaqanga, Scathamiya, Afro-pop and Reggae).With this upcoming album, Bongani dares to go where no South African Artist has gone before. He dares to entrench a sound that transcends borders and appeals to all Africans, both young and old. This is one guy who refuses to conform to a genre. His latest offering is a LOVE ALBUM entitled Je t'aime, packed with romantic, smooth tunes and soulful renditions of all these African Influences, amalgamated with an urban touch to produce a holistic unique sound. The sound is quite unique, but laced with very familiar nuances of soul with an indigenous Zulu delivery. He throws in some Floetry as a surprise bonus for the listener.
