Michael Bublé Will Be Returning To South Africa!

Big Concerts is ecstatic to confirm that the multi Grammy award winning, Canadian superstar, Michael Bublé, will be returning to Cape Town in 2015 performing in a brand new intimate configuration at Cape Town Stadium.

Working in depth with Cape Town Stadium and Gearhouse, South Africa’s leading technical supplier to the live event industry, Big Concerts has reconfigured the standard stadium setup into a new, fully seated, more intimate setup with the stage positioned nearest to the south quadrant of the stadium. Managing Director of Big Concerts, Justin Van Wyk commented: “Michael Bublé will be the first concert in this new stadium layout.

Fans will be treated to an evening of Michael Bublé with exceptional sound and a world-class production played out in an intimate setting. Van Wyk also added: “This new configuration will enable us to bring a whole range of new tours to Cape Town which previously may have been left out. However, capacity is limited with only 3 seating blocks on the field and we urge fans to get their tickets early”.

Tickets go on sale Friday 10th October 2014 at 9am from www.bigconcerts.com and Computicket.

Michael Bublé has achieved global sales of 45 million albums in the course of his extraordinary decade long career. His previous ‘Crazy Love’ tour sold out in 80 US cities and was seen by over 2 million fans worldwide including 5 sold out dates in Cape Town and Johannesburg, while the album ‘Crazy Love’ has now passed 7.6 million sales. His latest release ‘To Be Loved’ debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Magazine Top 200 pop charts.

To Be Loved” produced by Bob Rock was recorded in Vancouver and Los Angeles and includes a mix of standards as well as four original songs all co-written by Bublé. “After All” one of the four originals was co-written and performed by fellow Canadian Bryan Adams.  The new album also includes hits previously recorded by some of Bublé’s musical heroes including the Bee Gees hit “To Love Somebody”, Frank Sinatra’s “You Make Me Feel So Young”, the Jackson 5 early ‘70’s smash “Who’s Loving You”, Jackie Wilson’s “To Be Loved” and the Elvis Presley classic “Have I Told You Lately”.  Bublé was joined by actress Reese Witherspoon on the classic Frank and Nancy Sinatra duet “Something Stupid”.

Bublé commented about his new tour ‘I’m very excited to get back on the road and perform for my fans. It’s been a while but we’re rested up and ready to have a big party on stage every night’
