Dreamteam SA would like to formally announce their recent signing of
Noni Rwaxa more popularly known as MsCosmo. MsCosmo joins the likes of Terry
Phetho, Tumisho Masha, Nkhensani Nkosi, Kabelo Mabalane, Khuli Chana, Azania
Mosaka, Thembi Seete, TKZee, Noni Gasa and Tshepiso Ramotsehoa, all of whom are
managed by Dreamteam SA.

Born as Nonqaba Nozuko Rwaxa to a Xhosa father and Zulu mother, MsCosmo
lived the first six years of her life in Diepkloof, Soweto, before her family
moved to the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. As a young girl, MsCosmo wanted
to be a singer, but she diligently went through the school system and later
graduated with a BCom Finance and Investment Management degree from the
University of Johannesburg. MsCosmo went on to work for one of the big 4 banks
as a Commercial Property Finance consultant.
The Joburg pop culture drew MsCosmo to the love of music and DJ’ing.
Through encouragement from her friends, and a golden ear for music, MsCosmo
decided to take her music interest further and enrolled at FUSE Academy, a
DJ’ing school founded by DJ Zinhle.
Under the guidance of DJ ZanD, MsCosmo honed her skills on vinyl before advancing
to CDJ’s. MsCosmo still has a preference for vinyl playing and believes there
is room for this art to take shape and form a culture of its own in South
Africa, as witnessed through her travels to destinations such as New York and
Miami, where highly esteemed DJs were playing with vinyls.
MsCosmo is currently a weekly live mix DJ for YFM’s YTKO feature and a
video mix DJ for Channel O’s Bassment program. MsCosmo
will be presenting an award this Saturday, 17 November 2012, at the much
anticipated Channel O Music Video Awards 2012. “Joining Dreamteam SA is
definitely a humbling and exciting experience for me as I know they'll be the
backbone of growing my brand and catapulting me to unknown heights. I'm
ecstatic for the journey and I know this will be a fruitful and effortless
